Have anyone watched this movie called "Hotel Rwanda" before? My lecturer screened it during class today as we were doing on the topic about "War and Peace". I think this is really a good movie to watch as it shows us the "ugly sight" of the world, how mankind can turn nasty because of differences between humans..btw, it's based on a true story and very inspirational indeed..
A short summary of what the show is about:
Hotel Rwanda is a historical film about the hotelier Paul Rusesabagina during the Rwandan Genocide. Ten years before the film was released, some of the worst atrocities in the history of mankind took place in the country of Rwanda—and in an era of high-speed communication and round the clock news, the events went almost unnoticed by the rest of the world. In only three months 800,000 people were brutally murdered. In the face of these unspeakable actions, inspired by his love for his family, an ordinary man (Paul Rusesabagina) summons extraordinary courage to save the lives of over a thousand helpless refugees, by granting them shelter in the Hôtel des Mille Collines.

After school, I went to Teban and gave tuition to the Primary 3 kids. Haha. Missed them a lot since the last time I saw them due to the June Holidays. It has been an enriching + fun + rewarding experience teaching them. Had a great day today:)
