Philippians 4:13 "I can do everything through him who gives me strength."
1 Peter 5:7 "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."
I won't share much here, but I think the last week has been kinda a turbulant one for most people, with Lehman Brudders and the other bank that crashed. People thought that AIG would be next in line, but apparently it lasted. Now some people are guessing that JPMorgan would go first, while others claim that Goldman Sachs would be the next one being excecuted.
Stress. Over the economic situation. Over the looming exams.
I myself have also worried about things too much. So much so that when I'm not worried, I get worried about being not-worried at all.
Worry is a sin, as mentioned in the Bible (forgot which reference)
God cares for us, but I guess sometimes we get too caught up with things that we cannot see that fact. And that is the first step of the devil.
We do not have to worry about anything, as Philippians 4:6-7 puts it aptly
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."
God will also grant us what we need to get through a tight situation, be it holding your job or keeping up with your studies.
I guess so... If I made any mistakes, please do not hestitate to correct me. =)
