Kayaking. What in the world is their problem.
I got a doc's letter for 4 months MC, so it means that for the cohort outing for kayaking today, I would be sitting at the sidelines. Which I did.
It's boring, sitting at the corner of that... litter-filled beach, watching everyone else having fun with the water, sinking etc. The weather was so warm! The sun was shining down to brightly... Stand/sit in the shade, and you would get attacked by mosquitos, which comes by the dozen. I do not know why in the world they love me so much. Stand out in the sun, and you would get a heatstroke.
I should not have went to school today... Such a waste of time.
I don't understand... What is with the Singapore's education system? 2 weeks ago, RI announced that it would be combining up with RJC for some integrated program rubbish. And that they will follow NUSHMS's style of 6 year education. The principal still ended off with a note saying "We believe our students can handle the exciting things that would be coming their way."
How rude. This is eliticism (the elites are seperated from the amateurs). So you are actually saying that your students are smarter? Don't the government press for a balance? Did they not stress the importance of the "Everyone is equal" mindset? The equality mindset?
So you SEGREGATE the elites from the amateurs. So that the RI people have a better reason for looking down on other people. So that you can put more hot air into their almost-bursting fat head.
I hate it.
The other time, during one of the Arena episodes, when RV defeated RI in debate, RI was not happy. They made claims, "We do not believe this can happen." "We are smarter than the RV students. How can they beat us?". I forgot... did they want to sue the RV people? Or had a rigged rematch?
What kind of impression are you giving to the general public? Yes, the people there are smart. But does that give you the right to discriminate and show off to the rest of us, who are not as smart?
So actually results are not everything. Character and moral values are also important.
(Sorry... I am not targeting RI alone... I'm just using them as an example to some of the students from the top schools, who I believe, have this kind of mindset)
Come to think about it... I have no idea why I am so angry about this matter...
