CG Outing

Today I had a really good time during CG outing =). Really want to say a big thanks to all of you who helped planned and made it a success especially Sheng Le, Heidi and Yong Quan and also thanks to all of you took time off to come down.

Just to recap what we did for memory sake (shucks! I forgot to take photos!!!):

At Vivocity
We met at Vivocity for Kopitiam for lunch and most of us were late =p. Gan Chai, being the gentleman he is, smsed CG Member 1to encourage him/her to come down. Poor Sheng Le took the wrong bus but I think it worked out fine.

Clara ate Mango Pudding, Chrystal and Heidi ate Jap Beef set, Gan Chai and Jeremy ate Duck Rice, Yong Quan ate some Chicken + Egg + Rice Set, I ate a mini fish steamboat whilst Sean Prawn Mee without Prawns and Sheng Le helped eat the prawns.

On the MRT
We then took a train down to Heidi's house at Kovan.

We managed to get seats and whilst the guys talked about their recent DotA game the girls came to a shocking realization of what Clara does at her attachment. To compound to it Heidi made a good observation of her shirt we said "Stop Animal Abuse" it was hilarious =D. As we approached Heidi's house the guys were likewise intrigued by Clara's stories. We sympathized with her cause she was not too keen to meet the cute female rabbits tomorrow.

At Heidi's House

We put our stuff down at Heidi's house and Jeremy had to borrow Uncle Chor Pang's and Sheng Le's clothes cause his mom didn't allow him to come at first but glad he could join us in the end =).

At The Basketball Court
We made our way to the basketball court and played a few games of full court and half court basketball. As we played, we were treated to hospitality of the Tan family who provided ice cold orange syrup and tidbits. I'll make special mention to say that Joyce joined us half way.

During the last basketball game, my team amazingly came back from 2-6 down to tie 6-6, it was sudden death! After many attempts to score by using some soccer throw in style way of shooting, Gan Chai amazingly pulled off some flying underhand under the basket layup which went in to clinch the game for his team.

Back at Heidi's House
As we stood on the 12th floor we took in the view.

A few interesting observations could be made about our CG:
-The majority do not like to shower *gasp* (only Heidi and myself showered)
-Our Chinese is atrocious (totally could not play the "qing ni gen wo ze yang zhuo" game
-Our favour word english word that starts with the letter "E" is "Eagle"
-Yong Quan and Chrystal are ermm... special because they can eat the Japanese beans (Edamame). Not just the beans, the whole thing! Skin included!

After hanging around for a while we all made our way to wherever we had to go to. I truly look forward to our next CG outing. But that will probably be after my exams or even after Youth Camp. But of course in the mean time you could all organize something yourselves. As proven by this outing, you all can plan and execute a truly successful outing in such a short time. 3 cheers!

Hip hip hooray!
